Emmanuel Wembi was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, and is currently a professional basketball player overseas. Throughout his career, he has played in various countries, including Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, France, Spain, and Mexico. With over six years of professional experience, Emmanuel began his basketball journey at a young age. He attended Rocky River High School, where he played as a PF/C, and then went on to play at Catawba Valley Community College and Lenoir-Rhyne University at the collegiate level before transitioning into his professional career. Emmanuel is excited to share his wealth of experience and knowledge of the game to help each camper grow as both a basketball player and a person.

I’m Rodney “R.J.” Gunn, a Columbia, SC native whose basketball journey has shaped my life. At Irmo High School, I earned All-State and All-Region honors twice before playing four years at Lenoir-Rhyne University, where I was a two-time All-Conference selection and earned a degree in Sports Management. After receiving an extra year of eligibility due to COVID, I continued at Duquesne University, earning a master’s in Leadership while overcoming injuries.
Professionally, I played in the Netherlands, Colombia, and Slovakia, gaining a deep appreciation for the game’s lessons beyond the court. Now, I’m committed to mentoring and developing young athletes, helping them grow both in basketball and in life.
